April 5 – June 8, 2025 marked a turning point in my career as an artist: for the first time, my work graced the walls of a museum.
The venue was none other than the Trenton City Museum at Ellarslie Mansion, a historic space where art, culture, and history converge.
The exhibition, Cultural Connections: Eastern European Artists of Greater Trenton, curated by Liz and Dan Aubrey, was a celebration of heritage, creativity, and connection. My contribution was both substantial and deeply personal: eight large-format paintings, handpicked by the curators, that were displayed prominently—from their appearance on the official exhibition flyer to commanding placements throughout the museum’s largest event rooms. Each piece carried my signature bold color, fluid movement, and layered symbolism of connection, transforming the spaces they inhabited.
From the vibrant opening reception on April 5, to the thoughtful artist talk on April 26, and throughout the steady flow of visitors over two months, these works became a living part of the museum’s atmosphere—sparking conversations, inspiring reflection, and bridging cultural narratives.
Now that the exhibition has closed, I carry with me the honor of having had such a significant presence in my first museum show, and the momentum it has sparked. It’s a milestone that affirms both the reach of my art and the power of placing it in spaces where it can truly connect.
